Photos: NYC’s Chelsea Market: Holiday 2009
A few days ago I ducked into New York City’s Chelsea Market to warm up a bit – it was 26° and I was frozen! Chelsea Market is an little-known food and shopping “mall,” that occupies what used to be the National Biscuit Company’s factory. In other words, Nabisco used to make Oreos there!
It’s a great place to hang out. (They claim to have free Wi-Fi, but I’ve yet to find it.) The assortment of food and shops is excellent, it’s a great space, and it’s right by the Highline.
Enjoy.
