Obama’s Gay Joke At The White House Correspondents Dinner
President Barack Obama delivered an excellent speech at tonight’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner, and poked fun at “conspiracy theorists” by closing with a “quick preview” of a second term “secret agenda” for the Obama administration. Comparing accomplishments he made in his first term to ones he (jokingly) plans to make in his second, President Obama said, “in my first term we repealed a policy known as Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell. In my second term we will replace it with a policy known as ‘It’s Raining Men.'”
The mention of repealing Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell received great applause.
President Obama’s speech was the perfect mix of self-deprecating humor, and thinly-veiled and full frontal attacks on both the media and Republicans.
And the president was not afraid to “go there,” even making several jokes about eating dogs, including, “What’s the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull? A pit bull is delicious.”
“Family is off-limits, dogs, apparently, are fair game, and, “it’s a boy-eat-dog world out there.”
We’ll have video up later.
