NOM Attacks Roseanne: We Need To Teach Her A Lesson
Just arrived in my email inbox from Brian Brown at NOM, the National Organization For Marriage. Seriously, do h=they have any shame? If this doesn’t say, “money-making scam,” I don’t know what does…

Dear Marriage Supporter,
I’ve been thinking more about what Roseanne Barr wrote on Twitter about you and me—that we are an accomplice to murder for defending marriage—and I’ve decided we need to teach her this lesson: “If you go after folks who believe in marriage, we will fight back.”
That’s why I’ve decided to do something creative—whatever amount of money we raise from this campaign I will include that dollar amount along with a strong pro-marriage message to Roseanne Barr’s Twitter account.
That’s right. Whatever funds we raise I will include that amount with this message to Roseanne Barr on Twitter:
“Speaking out for marriage is NOT hate speech. Pro-marriage heroes gave $_____ in response to your attacks on them.”
It’s up to you to decide what amount I can put in that blank space—if that amount is $2,500 or $25,000. Obviously I hope it is more, so the message is even louder.
Everyone who follows NOM and myself on Twitter will see that pro-marriage message from you, loud and clear—and so will Roseanne Barr!
So please donate $25 or whatever you can to:

If you can give $100, I am asking you for $100. If you can give $50, I am asking for $50. If you can give as much as $1,000, I would ask you to consider giving $1,000 or more today.
Even if you can give just $25, please make that contribution today—every dollar counts, because every dollar is going in that Twitter message to Roseanne Barr.
Roseanne Barr talks a lot but we know that talk can be cheap and actions speak louder than words. So please take this action to defend marriage in the same online arena that Roseanne Barr defamed it: on Twitter.

Thank you and God bless you for standing up for marriage in creative ways like this one!
