Michele Bachmann’s Latest Poll Numbers Are Frightening
Rep. Michele Bachmann‘s latest poll numbers are frightening — if you’re Michele Bachmann or one of her apparently dwindling supporters. Only three in 10 likely Minnesota voters have a favorable opinion of the U.S. Congresswoman. The new PPP poll finds 29% of voters have a favorable opinion of Bachmann, and a whopping  59%, or six in ten voters have an unfavorable opinion of the three-term Congresswoman who is the head of the House’s Tea Party caucus and represents an extremely conservative district.
Bachmann’s hope will be in getting her ultra-conservative supporters to the polls. She has only a 44% approval rating with those who are “somewhat conservative,” but a 71% approval rating with those who are “very conservative.”
As The New Civil Rights Movement reported Monday, Bachmann is in a statistical tie with Democratic challenger Jim Graves. A poll, taken at the end of August, gives Bachmann just 48% of likely voters, and Graves 46%.
