Matt Damon: Tea Party Is “Completely Intransigent” (Video)
Matt Damon, who has spent a fair amount of time in grassroots politics, like his 2010 support of New York’s Green Party, talks to a reporter at a Save Our Schools March, calling the Tea Party “completely intransigent,” and adding, of the debt ceiling debate, “my heart does go out to the President. He is dealing with a lot.”
Damon seems to have a grasp of the GOP’s hatred of taxes and offered some solutions, including his willingness to pay more. Presumably, the Oscar winner and star of 59 films has a few bucks socked away.
