Majority Of Americans Agree: GOP Is ‘Too Extreme’

The majority of Americans rarely agree on many issues, but here’s one they do agree upon: The Republican Party is “too extreme.” 53% of Americans say so, in a new CNN/ORC poll taken December 17-18.
The poll also shows President Obama’s approval rating at 52%, against John Boehner’s at 34%.
But here’s the big take-away: 50% of those in the South — the only area where the GOP has any reasonable stronghold — think the Republican Party is too extreme.
