Maggie Gallagher: “It’s Gonna Be A Bloody Mess In New York” (Video)
Maggie Gallagher, the Chairman of NOM, the National Organization For Marriage, says “it’s gonna be a bloody mess in New York,” referring to the lead up to the 2012 election environment. Veiled threats of violence and attacks on lawmakers, and voter intimidation, especially just days after a domestic terrorism attack in Oslo, Norway, which left close to 100 dead, are unconscionable. But right-wing extremists rarely have the sense to see beyond themselves.
Saying, “it’s kind of an exciting time,” Gallagher also falsely claimed the National Organization For Marriage had 10,000 protesters show for their anti-gay hate rally, titled, “Let the people vote.” No other reputable publication independently reported numbers anywhere near that high, with most pegging it at about 3,000.
Stay tuned for an update later this morning on Maggie Gallagher’s NOM and why that 10,000 number should be so embarrassing to her.
