Log Cabin “Republicans” Forget They Can’t Get “Married”
Log Cabin “Republicans” Forget They Can’t Get “Married.”
The election of Scott Brown yesterday has given every press release writer yet another assignment. The Log Cabin Republicans are no exception. Here’s what they had to say about Republican’s Scott Brown’s win:
“We look forward to working with Senator Brown on many critical issues, including market-based healthcare reform, tax relief, supporting the war on terror, workplace non-discrimination, commonsense education reform, and ending the failed ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ policy.”
Um, see anything missing? Repeal of DOMA, perhaps?
As we well know, Brown won’t work with them — or us — on “ending the failed ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ policy,” on “workplace non-discrimination,” and certainly not on mariage equality.
But hey, it sounded good.
