Gay Tea Party group GOProud, which backed many anti-gay GOP candidates, and questionable ones, like Scott Brown (R-MA) issued this statement today (above), evidently in response to those blaming Senator Brown for today’s close but unsuccessful vote to move forward with voting on “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” repeal.
