Glenn Beck Has A “Righteous Calling” To Lead “The New Civil Rights Movement”
Glenn Beck, pointing to Martin Luther King, Jr., says that he has the “righteous calling” to lead “the New Civil Rights Movement,” and lead America away from fascism and dictatorship, because “we’re done, we’re done as a nation.” Repeatedly claiming that people in Europe, especially Greece are “dead inside,” Beck told televangelist James Robison that Martin Luther King, Jr., would not have been protesting at Occupy Wall Street, “with the rapes and the murders.”
Beck’s ludicrous apocalyptic fantasies of armageddon and end times — fueled by his claims that America’s on the wrong moral track, fit in nicely with his host, James Robison. Robison was cited by Mike Huckabee as holding the 1979 rally — spurred by his being kicked off a television station for calling homosexuality sin — that sparked the rise of the Moral Majority.

Of course, we did consider suing Beck for his claim of owning “The New Civil Rights Movement”…
