Gay Marriage Vote Wednesday?
Gay Marriage Vote Wednesday? New York Governor David Paterson may call a special session of the New York State Senate if the power-sharing coup isn’t resolved by the end of the Legislature’s session Monday. Up for votes are 42 bills the Governor wants passed, including the gay marriage bill. If the Governor does call a special session, Senators are not required to vote on bills, they are only required to open session. HRC is asking for volunteers to man the phone banks across the state.
