Evangelicals Attack Newt Gingrich As “Kim Kardashian Of The GOP” (Video)

Published

on

A Right Wing extremist and pundit named Molotov Mitchell has just released a video — that’s gone viral quickly — which attacks GOP front-runner Newt Gingrich and labels the thrice married serial adulterer as the “Kim Kardashian of the GOP.” Ouch.

Long-time readers will remember Molotov Mitchell as one of the more offensive anti-gay pundits, but in this case we’re willing to sit back and let the Right destroy their current leader.

Tommy Christopher at Mediaite notes:

“The video is pegged to Gingrich’s three marriages, and his refusal to sign The Family Leader‘s controversial “Marriage Vow,” but the punchline is the disturbing sight of Newt Gingrich’s head on Kim Kardashian‘s body. There’s no way to un-see that.

“The video is three minutes of blistering anti-Newt, set to a thinly-disguised rip-off of Gary Glitter‘sRock & Roll, Part 2, and consists mostly of below-the-belt attacks on Gingrich’s personal life.”

A press release includes these details:

A Sioux City pastor, prominent in the defeat of three Iowa Supreme Court justices last year for their same-sex marriage ruling, announced today that a hip-hop video calling Newt Gingrich “the GOP’s Kim Kardashian for his many infidelities on marriage – gay, straight and his own” would be delivered, via text messaging starting today at 10 am, to every registered Republican or non-aligned Iowa voter with a cell phone on record.

The rhythmic, satirical 3-minute video rips Gingrich for his three marriages, two to former mistresses, one of which was his subordinate in the U.S. House and 23 years his junior: current wife and would-be First Lady, Callista Gingrich. It also blasts the former House Speaker for dodging the Iowa Family Leader’s Marriage Vow – a sweeping political pledge document that addresses adultery and fidelity, gay unions and health issues, fatherless children, U.S. monogamy and Islamist polygamy – which has been signed by three 2012 Presidential hopefuls: U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN), Texas Governor Rick Perry, and former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA).

The video’s star is Molotov Mitchell, whom the Rev. Cary K. Gordon, President of PeaceMakers Institute and pastor of Sioux City’s Cornerstone Church, calls “the guerilla warrior of Judeo-Christian political commentary.” Mitchell is an edgy independent filmmaker whose Illuminati Pictures delivers something akin to an animated political cartoon weekly at WorldNetDaily, one of the nation’s most trafficked conservative websites. Gordon also announced today that 832,897 text messages went out to Iowans last week bearing a link to his own video endorsement of a proposed GOP ticket, less than a month from the Iowa Republican Presidential Caucuses on January 3.

In that video, Gordon called for a marriage of sorts, urging Iowans to rally for a merger between the Santorum and Bachmann campaigns. Gordon wants Santorum to name Bachmann as his running mate now, for the event Iowans launch him to the GOP nomination, in exchange for Bachmann’s merger of her campaign with his. “Michele and the two Ricks – Santorum and Perry – have each been polling in single digits for one reason: They’re dividing conservative Iowa voters who delivered Mike Huckabee his upset victory here in 2008. If Santorum and Bachmann can make a deal now for a ticket – many Iowa conservatives don’t care who’s on top – and especially if Rick Perry would be willing to somehow join such a unity effort, we could easily have a January 3 ‘Rickaboom and Bachaboom’ just as loud as the ‘Huckaboom’ of 2008,” Gordon said.

Santorum and Bachmann, Gordon says, have both pledged to reinstate the military’s longstanding “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy against open homosexuality, reversed earlier this year by President Obama. “Rick and Michele would make a great GOP match, and would defend Judeo-Christian monogamy, while I think it’s quite clear Gingrich simply cannot be trusted with the institution of marriage in any sense,” Gordon said. “I think the 2010 Esquire interview with Newt’s second ex-wife and former mistress was very troubling,” he said.

Taylor Staffer Overheard Trump Impatiently Asking Sondland About ‘The Investigations’ Day After Infamous July 25 Call

Published

on

The acting ambassador to Ukraine said he has learned since his closed-door testimony that President Donald Trump appeared keenly interested in the status of an investigation into Joe Biden by Ukraine.

Bill Taylor, the president’s top diplomat in Ukraine, testified Wednesday that he learned last week from a staffer, after he was deposed in a closed-door hearing, about an incident that took place a day after Trump’s call to his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky.

“Last Friday, a member of my staff told me of events that occurred on July 26,” Taylor testified.

Taylor was visiting the front of Ukraine’s war with Russia at the time with Kurt Volker, then a special envoy to the country, and a member of the ambassador’s staff accompanied EU ambassador Gordon Sondland to a meeting with Andrey Yermak, an aide to Zelensky.

“Following that meeting, in the presence of my staff at a restaurant, Ambassador Sondland called President Trump and told him of his meetings in Kyiv,” Taylor testified. “The member of my staff could hear President Trump on the phone, asking Ambassador Sondland about ‘the investigations.’”

“Ambassador Sondland told President Trump that the Ukrainians were ready to move forward,” Taylor added.

Taylor’s staff member asked Sondland what the president thought about Ukraine, and the acting ambassador was troubled by his State Department colleague’s response.

“Ambassador Sondland responded that President Trump cares more about the investigations of Biden, which Giuliani was pressing for,” Taylor testified. “At the time I gave my deposition on October 22, I was not aware of this information. I am including it here for completeness.”

Taylor said he first reported that new information through the State Department’s legal adviser, and then through attorneys for both House Republicans and Democrats.

Nunes Promotes Debunked Conspiracy Theories: Democrats Colluded With Russia and Are ‘Culpable’ of ‘Malfeasance’ in Ukraine

Published

on

Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Devin Nunes (R-CA) in his opening remarks on the first day of public witness testimony in the impeachment inquiry of President Donald Trump, charged House Democrats with wholly debunked conspiracy theories. Among them, that Democrats – not Donald Trump – colluded with Russia, and Ukraine, not Russia, attacked the 2016 U.S. elections. Also, that Democrats, not President Trump, committed wrongdoing against Ukraine.

So, Nunes is claiming (falsely) that Democrats both colluded with Ukraine and attacked Ukraine (video below.)

“Democrats have a long habit of accusing Republicans of offenses they, themselves, are committing,” Nunes claimed. “For years they accused the Trump campaign of colluding with Russia when they themselves were colluding with Russia by funding and spreading the Steele Dossier that relied on Russian sources. And now they accuse President Trump of malfeasance in Ukraine, when they, themselves, are culpable. The Democrats cooperated in Ukrainian election meddling,” Nunes charged.

Literally every word is a lie.

Remember that the U.S. Intelligence Community unanimously decreed that Russia attacked the 2016 U.S  elections. That fact was once again proven during the Mueller investigation, and in the Mueller Report. There is literally zero proof of Nunes’ claims.

Nunes, who may be best remembered for his dramatic dark of night visit to the White House in 2017, where he was given information by the Trump administration only to claim it was from a secret source. That information was falsely framed to suggest (wrongly) the Obama administration had illegally investigated the Trump campaign.
