DOMA: Al Sharpton Talks To Husband Of Gay Soldier Booed At GOP Debate
MSNBC’s Al Sharpton talks with Joshua Snyder, the husband of gay soldier Stephen Hill, who was booed at last month’s GOP/YouTube debate. Hill is part of a group of soldiers who are suing the federal government over DOMA, the Defense of Marriage Act, that forces the federal government to not recognize same-sex marriages. DOMA has already been declared illegal in federal court.

“Stephen’s over there doing the same thing as every other soldier, we’re legally married and we just want the same rights,” Joshua says.
We couldn’t agree more.
