BREAKING: Pelosi To Run For Minority Leader
Jonathan Capehart of the Washington Post just reported, and Nancy Pelosi just confirmed, both via Twitter, that Pelosi will be running for the position of Minority Leader of the House.
Nancy Pelosi, the first woman Speaker of the House, accomplished more great things for this nation in a mere two years than many other Speakers ever did. The frustrating part is that Harry Reid’s Senate didn’t take up anything more than a small fraction of Pelosi’s bills. (Depending on the kind of bill, bills generally come from the House to the Senate.)
Pelosi was targeted by the GOP because she was so productive and adept at moving forward the Democratic agenda. And, of course, because she is a woman.
