Last week we introduced you to Ash Beckham, a professional speaker and LGBT activist. In the video we showed you last week, Beckham said she used to go through “phases of militant lesbian intensity” while working at a local diner. She says that everyone, gay and straight, has a closet they need to come out from, and talked about her hilarious and heart-warming journey.
In this video, filmed in Boulder, Colorado, Beckham talks about the difference between tolerance and acceptance, and about the pejorative use of the term, “that’s so gay.”
The video, and Beckham, are brilliant.
