WATCH LIVE NOW: After Attacking Reporters and Lying, White House Press Secretary Holds First ‘Official’ Briefing
Spicer Openly Lied to Reporters on Saturday
White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer will hold his first “official” press briefing  Monday at 1:30 PM EST. You can watch live below. Spicer openly lied to reporters at a hastily-called briefing late Saturday afternoon, attacking them for properly reporting facts about President Donald Trump‘s inauguration attendance.
Spicer came under immediate criticism nationwide, with the media making clear they will not act as stenographers for the administration. Top Trump aide Kellyanne Conway only made matters worse Sunday when she described Spicer’s lies as “alternative facts,” prompting an #AlternativeFacts hashtag on Twitter to go viral, as NCRM first reported.
Ironically, just weeks ago Spicer at a forum stated no press secretary worth his salt would ever lie:

“I don’t think any communicator worth their salt can go out and tell a lie,” Spicer added in that interview with @davidaxelrod on Jan. 4th
