  • Trump Just Backed Away From His Promise to Pay Legal Fees of Supporters Who Beat Up Protestors

Brash Billionaire Breaks Promise He Would Legally Protect Violent Supporters

    Donald Trump, Feb. 1:
“So if you see someone getting ready to throw a tomato, knock the crap out of ‘em. Would you? Seriously. Ok? Just knock the hell—I promise you, I will pay for the legal fees. I promise. I promise.”

    Donald Trump, March 15:
"I never said I was going to pay for fees."

On Monday, Politico published a scathing takedown of the GOP frontrunner.

"We chronicled 4.6 hours of stump speeches and press conferences, from a rally in Concord, N.C., on Monday to a rally on Friday in St. Louis," Politico reported.

"The result: more than five dozen statements deemed mischaracterizations, exaggerations, or simply false – the kind of stuff that would have been stripped from one of our stories, or made the whole thing worthy of the spike. It equates to roughly one misstatement every five minutes on average."

"Misstatement." Also known as "falsehood" or "lie."

Why should this surprise anyone. When his mouth moves all that comes out are lies.
