San Bernardino Attack: Suspects Had 12 Pipe Bombs And Massive Amounts Of Ammunition At House
Police report the suspects, now dead, had a tremendous stockpile of ammunition and other items that could have caused even greater loss of life.Â
“Nobody gets upset at a party” and comes back and does this, San Bernardino Police Chief Jarrod Burguan said, suggesting possible other motives.  Burguan made his remarks minutes ago at a press conference on Wednesday’s San Bernardino attack.
Burguan detailed a massive amount of ammunition the suspects apparently had stockpiled at a house in Redlands, California, including 12 pipe bombs, hundreds of tools to construct other bombs, 2000 9mm rounds, 2500 .223 rounds, and several hundred long rifle rounds, the police chief said.

In the get away SUV, police found the dead suspects with 1400 .223 rounds of ammunition, and 200 9mm rounds.Â
The suspects fired between 65 and 75 rounds in the conference room, and another 76 at police when surrounded in the SUV.
Police also announced the injured list at Wednesday’s attack  has risen from 17 to 21.

Suspect Syed Farook, an employee of the County Health Dept., was attending a holiday party, left angrily, and returned, presumably with his wife, the other suspect, both now dead, when they “sprayed the room” with bullets, killing 14 people.
The FBI was also present at the conference.

“There was obviously a mission here,” FBI Asst. Director David Bowdich said. “It would be irresponsible for me to call this terrorism.”
Syed Farook had visited Pakistan earlier, police revealed.
