Sarah Huckabee Sanders Just Delivered the Most Insane Defense of Trump’s Sexually Harassing Tweet
Press Secretary Even Tells Reporter Her Mind Is ‘In the Gutter’
Sarah Huckabee Sanders was over an hour late to Tuesday’s press briefing, and when she finally appeared she did so with a guest speaker, the very ill-informed and unprepared Director of United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, Lee Cissna.Â
But the White House press secretary couldn’t avoid what she knew would be the first question from reporters: Why did President Trump target Democratic Senator Kirsten Gillibrand in a sexually harassing, sexist, and misogynistic tweet in which the appeared to accuse her of prostituting her office for campaign donations from him?
In case you missed it, here’s what the President of the United States said Tuesday morning:
“Lightweight Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a total flunky for Chuck Schumer and someone who would come to my office ‘begging’ for campaign contributions not so long ago (and would do anything for them), is now in the ring fighting against Trump. Very disloyal to Bill & Crooked-USED!”
Many, many people strongly believe Trump’s tweet was offensive and sexual in nature.
Huckabee Sanders offered up a ridiculous defense of the president’s tweet.
“I think the president is very obvious. This is the same sentiment the president expressed many times before when he has exposed the corruption of the entire political system,” Huckabee Sanders claimed.

So, it’s “obvious” Trump lashed out at Gillibrand as a way to smack down “the corruption of the entire political system,” apparently.
President Trump “has used similar terminology many times when talking about politicians of both parties, both men and women, and certainly in his campaign to drain the swamp,” she also said. “The system is clearly broken and clearly rigged for special interests, and this president is someone that can’t be bought,” the press secretary told reporters.

At one point Huckabee Sanders even accused a reporter of having her mind in the gutter for interpreting a clearly sexually harassing tweet sexually.

And stunningly, the White House press secretary even called Sen. Gillibrand a “wholly owned subsidiary” of her donors.
So, President Trump targeted only one off the four (and now five) Democratic Senators who have called on him to resign over the sexual assault and sexual harassment allegations from 16 or more women. Trump targeted the only woman of the four who called on him to resign. And he did so in a disgustingly sexually harassing manner.

But if you think that, your mind is “in the gutter,” Huckabee Sanders says.
