Charlotte-Mecklenburg law enforcement officers in riot gear and gas masks Wednesday night have been using tear gas on protestors. Those protestors are angered over the killing by a police officer of Keith Lamont Scott, a 43-year old Black man, and father of seven, Tuesday afternoon. Scott's family say he was reading a book, police say he was armed with a gun when they shot and killed him.
Police, according to MSNBC, are using flash-bang devices to blind protestors and subdue them.
