Tweet Of The Day: Tennis Great Martina Navratilova On Scott Walker’s Gay Comment
Martina Navratilova weighs in on Scott Walker not knowing if being gay is a choice – and it’s awesome!
Earlier today, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, currently running for president, told CNN he didn’t know if being gay is a choice.Â
It was a ludicrous answer to a question the medical community has put to rest, as has nearly every gay person one could ask. Like, your lesbian cousin, of whom Scot Walker has one. He attended her wedding reception – albeit not her wedding, though his wife and two sons did.

One of the greatest tennis players in history, Martina Navratilova – a great wit and passionate political activist for LGBT, animal, and children’s rights – took to Twitter to respond to Walker’s inane comments.
(You can read them and watch him speak here.)
‘I DON’T KNOW’ IF BEING GAY IS A CHOICE- the choice is between Waffles and Pancakes. Walker is a waffle kind of guy:) http://t.co/ldcaqJ2Yyh

Shortly after, Navratilova continued:
@taiping11 I think Walker is hedging so he can wiggle out of the gay debate completely. And no- it really doesn’t matter if it’s a choice.

Religious freedom- what does it mean? Baking a cake 4 a gay couple going to a straight wedding but not 4 a straight couple going to a gay 1?
