Before Any Information Known, Minutes After Explosion, Trump Tells Crowd ‘Bomb Went Off’ in NYC
‘Boy We Are Really in a Time. We Better Get Very Tough, Folks’
Donald Trump told a Colorado audience Saturday evening that “a bomb went off in New York,” minutes after the Chelsea neighborhood saw an explosion. At that point, there were absolutely no reports detailing what happened because no one knew what had happened.
“Just before I got off the plane, a bomb went off in New York and nobody knows exactly what’s going on, but, boy we are really in a time. We better get very tough, folks,” Trump told supporters. “It’s a terrible thing that’s going on in our world and in our country and we are going to get tough and smart and vigilant. We’ll see what it is.”

Reminder: Donald Trump is actively rooting for the explosion in NYC to turn out to be a terrorist attack. Let that sick reality sink in.
