Trump Posts Ranting Tweet Admitting He Asked Barr to Talk About Ukraine Call

President Donald Trump appeared to be even more off-the-rails than usual Thursday morning. Posting a strange ranting tweet, the Commander-in-Chief admitted that he did ask the Attorney General to publicly announce that Trump’s infamous July 25 call extorting Ukraine in a military aid for dirt on his political opponent broke no laws.

“Bill Barr did not decline my request to talk about Ukraine,” Trump said, indicating clearly that he had made the request, just as The Washington Post reported Wednesday night.

Trump went on to claim that the Dept. of Justice “already ruled that the call was good,” which does not appear to be accurate.

But topping it all off, Trump announced, “We don’t have freedom of the press!”

America in fact does have freedom of the press, so either President Trump was announcing he will attempt to end that (which he cannot) or he does not understand the concept.

Hours earlier, just past midnight, Trump posted an angry tweet denying what he just admitted to: that he asked Barr to publicly defend his Ukraine call. He also called the media “The Enemy of the People,” just as Stalin used to.
