Watch: Scaramucci Compares Mulvaney to Teen in Horror Movie ‘Scratching Help Me on the Fogged Shower Door’

“If I were giving Mick Mulvaney advice, I would resign, and I would get myself a really good lawyer.”

Former Trump confidante and White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci says the president’s chief of staff Mick Mulvaney needs to resign after his disastrous press conference last week. Mulvaney admitted President Donald Trump was engaged in a quid pro quo with the President of Ukraine in a military aid for dirt on Joe Biden scandal.

Speaking on CNN’s “New Day” Monday morning, Scaramucci likened Mulvaney’s actions in that press conference to a “teenager in a horror movie that was scratching ‘help me’ on the fogged shower door.”

“If I were giving Mick Mulvaney advice, I would resign, and I would get myself a really good lawyer, because you’re going to have to explain a lot of things.”

He called the chief of staff a “good Catholic” and said he should “go to confession” and try to rebuild his career after leaving the White House.

Scaramucci says Trump’s approval ratings among Republicans are high but “those are superficial numbers.” He predicts after the House impeaches the president some top Republicans will go to him, as was done with Nixon, and tell him he must resign.

“He’s either leaving before the end of the term, or he’s not running for re-election,” Scaramucci predicts, because “the level of illegality” Trump has engaged in “is so far and above anything that could be perceived as normal.”
