Trump Takes Swipe at Obama for Not Capturing al-Baghdadi Then Admits to War Crime at Police Chiefs Conference

President Donald Trump bragged that he personally destroyed the ISIS caliphate, took a swipe at President Barack Obama for not capturing the terrorist al-Baghdadi, and admitted to a war crime as he delivered a speech to the International Association of Chiefs of Police late Monday morning.
“Another president should have gotten him,” Trump said, taking a clear wipe at President Barack Obama, just days after U.S. Special Forces killed ISIS terrorist leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Earlier Trump said killing al-Baghdadi was bigger than killing Osama bin Laden. Experts disagree.
Trump also admitted to committing a war crime.
“We’re keeping the oil. Remember that,” Trump told the police chiefs. “I’ve always said that…keep the oil.”
Trump was referring to his widely-condemned withdrawal of U.S. Armed Forces in Northern Syria. Aides reportedly were able to convince the president to allow some troops to secure oil fields. Trump now appears to be claiming them for the U.S., which is a quite likely a war crime, according to an analysis by The Washington Post.

President Trump on the death of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi: “We killed ISIS leader al-Baghdadi. Been looking for him a long time. We have been looking for him for many years. He was a sick and depraved man and now he’s dead. He’s dead. Dead as a door nail.” pic.twitter.com/kMBRobg7LX
