Pelosi Lays Down the Law on Impeachment: ‘These Rules Are Fairer Than Anything That Have Gone Before’
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi isn’t taking any guff. Addressing reporters ahead of Thursday’s now-historic vote passing impeachment inquiry rules, Pelosi said: “I’m going to answer it one time. These rules are fairer than anything that have gone before in terms of an impeachment proceeding.”
The Speaker also repeatedly told reporters she will not speak to Republicans’ charges, adding that House committees will continue to dot he peoples’ work regardless of the impeachment proceedings.
