‘Did You Hear Me? Did You Hear Me? Don’t Be Rude’: In Embarrassing Meltdown Trump Berates White House Reporter

In an embarrassing and disturbing meltdown President Donald Trump attacked and berated Reuters’ White House correspondent Jeff Mason Wednesday afternoon. Mason was attempting to ask Trump what the president wanted to ask of the president of Ukraine in relation to Joe Biden and Hunter Biden in that now-infamous extortion phone call.

“Ask a question now,” Trump ordered Mason, who happens to also be a former president of the White House Correspondents’ Association.

“The question sir was what did you want President Zelensky to do about Vice President Biden and his son, Hunter,” Mason replied.

After pausing, Trump quizzically asked, “Are you talking to me?”

“Listen. Listen. Are you ready?” Trump berated. “We have the president of Finland. Ask him a question,” Trump barked. After getting some pushback, Trump grew angered.

“Did you hear me? Did you hear me? Ask him a question,” Trump, pointing to President Niinistö, said. “I’ve given you a long answer. Ask, this gentleman a question. Don’t be rude,” Trump declared.

“It’s a whole hoax,” Trump then announced, “And you know who’s playing into the hoax? People like you and the whole fake news media that we have in this country. And I say in many cases, the corrupt media. Because you’re corrupt.”

After repeatedly attacking Mason, Trump declared the media to be “corrupt,” and “fake.”

“Ask the president a question,” Trump blasted in possibly the worst meltdown of his presidency.
