Former Vice President Joe Biden is calling President Donald Trump “corrupt” and issued a challenge to him Wednesday afternoon: “Mr. President, release your tax returns or shut up.”
Calling himself “one of the poorest men in Congress,” and saying that he’s released 21 years of his tax returns, Biden noted that even President Richard Nixon released his tax returns.
The former Vice President, pointing to all the Trump associates who have committed crimes or are now in jail called them “flat thugs” and the Trump administration a “thoroughly corrupt outfit.”
“These are the president’s people, for God’s sake,” Biden exclaimed.
