White House ‘Transcript’ Proves Trump Asked Ukraine President to Dig Up Dirt on Biden and Offered Support if He Did

The White House has released a five-page “transcript” that proves President Donald Trump asked the president of Ukraine to investigate – dig up dirt – on his top political opponent, Joe Biden, and Biden’s son Hunter. The so-called “transcript” – really a compilation of notes taken by aides who may have listened in on the call, also shows Trump promising U.S. assistance if the Ukraine president fulfilled his wishes.

“President Trump told his Ukrainian counterpart to work with the U.S. attorney general to investigate the conduct of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and offered to meet with the foreign leader at the White House after he promised to conduct such an inquiry, according to a newly-released transcript of the call,” The Washington Post reports.

“I would like to have the Attorney General call you or your people and I would like you to get to the bottom of it,” Trump is credited as saying, the transcript reveals.

“There’s a lot of talk about Biden’s son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great,” Trump later said. “Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if you can look into it. … It sounds horrible to me.”
