President Donald Trump is working hard to get people to attend his hastily thrown-together “Salute to America” Independence Day celebration on the National Mall today. But in one of his morning tweets he bragged, “Perhaps even Aircraft One will do a low and loud sprint over the crowd.”
Aircraft One is recognized as the name of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s plane.
A documentary about the Russian jet can be viewed on Amazon Prime’s streaming service.
“Called ‘Kremlin-In-the-Air’, it carries Russia’s most important passenger – the President. Set in the context of real historical events, the film reveals unique facts about life and work aboard the Aircraft One,” reads the description.
Trump quickly deleted the tweet.
But not soon enough. Many on social media took time to mock the American president.
