Donald Trump squeezed news anchor Don Lemon to shreds on Tuesday night following the Democratic presidential debate. After referring to Lemon as “the dumbest man on television,” Trump took aim at the mainstream news in general.
Here’s how it went down:
“CNN’s Don Lemon, the dumbest man on television, insinuated last night while asking a debate ‘question’ that I was a racist, when in fact I am ‘the least racist person in the world.’ Perhaps someone should explain to Don that he is supposed to be neutral, unbiased & fair or is he too dumb (stupid} to understand that,” Trump tweeted.
“No wonder CNN’s ratings (MSNBC’s also) have gone down the tubes – and will stay there until they bring credibility back to the newsroom,” he added. “Don’t hold your breath!”

GLAAD issued a statement about the 119th time Trump has attacked LGBTQ Americans since taking office.
“Don Lemon has built a career out of pursuing and sharing the truth at all costs,” the statement read. “Not only is he an esteemed journalist, but he’s a true pioneer for the LGBTQ community.”
