READ: Mueller’s Letter to Barr Accusing Him of Undermining ‘Central Purpose’ of Special Counsel Investigation

As The New York Times’ bombshell report revealed Tuesday night, Special Counsel Robert Mueller complained to Attorney General Bill Barr that his 22 month investigation had been mischaracterized by Barr’s release of a four-page letter summarizing his 448 page report.

Mueller expressed his dissatisfaction to Barr, accusing him (politely) of undermining the “central purpose” of the Special Counsel’s investigation.

“There is now public confusion about critical aspects of the results of our investigation,” Mueller complained to Barr in his letter.
