Trump Just Fired His Secret Service Director in ‘Near-Systematic Purge’ at DHS: Report

“A wholesale decapitation of the Department of Homeland Security leadership,” says one administration official
The head of the U.S. Secret Service is out in what one is saying is now “a near-systematic purge happening”at the Dept. of Homeland Security, one senior administration official tells CNN.
Less than 24 hours ago Trump fired Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen.
“United States Secret Service director Randolph ‘Tex’ Alles is being removed from his position,” CNN reports, adding that Trump “instructed his acting chief of staff, Mick Mulvaney, to fire Alles. Alles remains in his position as of now but has been asked to leave.”
Telling CNN it is “a wholesale decapitation of the Department of Homeland Security leadership,” the officials says that the ax will fall on other heads.
“United States Citizenship and Immigration Services director Francis Cissna and Office of the General Counsel’s John Mitnick are expected to be gone soon, and the White House is eyeing others to be removed.”
“The President in recent weeks empowered Stephen Miller to lead the administration’s border policies ‘and he’s executing his plan.'”
