Trump White House Communications Director Reportedly Resigns
Bill Shine, President Donald Trump’s fifth communications director, has resigned. Shine was a co-president at Fox News and was seen as part of the Fox News-Trump White House echo chamber.
MSNBC on-air is suggesting Shine was “pushed out,” but noted, “in Trump world, you’re never really out.”
Shine reportedly will continue working within that chamber. He reportedly will join the Trump presidential re-election campaign.
MSNBC’s Ken Dilanian just reported the move to the campaign “seems like a face-saving gesture.”
Shine was discussed in the recent New Yorker investigation revealing the exceptionally close ties between the President, the White House, and Fox News.
Bill Shine’s wife Darla Shine has made headlines recently for her extreme and dangerous anti-vaxx positions and call to “bring back” deadly childhood diseases.
