Virginia Democratic Governor Ralph Northam‘s medical school yearbook page shows an image of two men, one in blackface and one wearing KKK robes and hat. The Virginan-Pilot reported the news Friday afternoon, and published the photo.
“The photo, which The Virginian-Pilot obtained a copy of Friday from the Eastern Virginia Medical School library, comes from the 1984 yearbook, the year Northam graduated.”
It is not known who the men in the photo are.
“Conservative news outlet Big League Politics first posted the photo at around 2:15 p.m. Friday with the headline ‘YEARBOOK: Ralph Northam In Blackface & KKK Photo,'” the article states.
Northam won election in a hotly contested race in November by nine points.

Calls are mounting from progressives and conservatives on social media for Northam to resign.
