Nicolle Wallace Slams ‘Coward’ Trump: Look the FBI Agents in the Eye and Tell Them Why They’re Not Getting Paid
‘He’s a Sham President’
MSNBC’s “Deadline: White House” host Nicolle Wallace delivered a serious smack down to President Donald Trump. She called him a “coward,” and claimed he wants says he wants border security, yet his shutdown of the government is “grinding” it to a halt.
Wallace cited the “devastating” 72-page report released by the FBI Agents Association Tuesday, detailing how Trump’s government shutdown has impacted the Bureau.
She then pivoted to Speaker Pelosi’s Wednesday afternoon letter telling the president he will not be delivering the State of the Union address in the House of Representatives until he re-opens the government. Today is the 33rd day of the Trump-McConnell shutdown.
“I have an idea,” Wallace exclaimed. “Why doesn’t Nancy Pelosi say, ‘You can come. I’m going to be at the food bank the FBI has set up because you’re not paying them and they can’t feed their families. And here’s what we’re going to do with all our seats. As Democrats, we’re going to give all our seats to furloughed federal workers, and you look them in the eye, you coward, and you tell them why they don’t have paychecks.'”
Wallace then chimed in on who should deliver the traditional Democratic response to the President’s State of the Union address.
“It should be FBI agents whose informants have gone to the other side because they couldn’t pay their phone cards,” she said, again referring to the FBI Agents Association report.
“He’s a sham president,” Wallace continued. “The idea he’s for law and order is B.S.”
