An enraged President Donald Trump is calling for Michael Cohen to be sent to prison for a long time, after the former Trump personal attorney and Trump Organization executive vice president was flipped by Robert Mueller last week. Moments later, the president praised dirty trickster and friend Roger Stone for having “guts” to “never testify against Trump.”
In response to an apparent headline saying Cohen is asking for no jail time, the president tweeted, “You mean he can do all of the TERRIBLE, unrelated to Trump, things having to do with fraud, big loans, Taxis, etc., and not serve a long prison term?”
Trump was quick to ensure his attorney’s crimes did not reflect on his own supposed innocence. It’s unclear why he capitalized the word “Taxis.”
“He makes up stories to get a GREAT & ALREADY reduced deal for himself, and get his wife and father-in-law (who has the money?) off Scott Free. He lied for this outcome and should, in my opinion, serve a full and complete sentence,” the president concluded.
He then praised Roger Stone as a man with “guts!” for saying back in August, “I will never testify against Trump.”
Last week when the news that Cohen had flipped on Trump broke, the president called his former attorney a “weak person.”
