Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) has just taken a major step toward running for president in 2020. The Massachusetts Senator has formed an exploratory committee, as CBS News reports. She tells supporters in a letter she “never in a zillion years thought” she’d run for any office.
In a four and a half minute video Warren explained why she is thinking of entering the race for the White House.
“In our country if you work hard and play by the rules, you ought to be able to take care of yourself and the people you love. That’s a fundamental promise of America,” Warren says.
