At his first real press conference in over a year a very belligerent President Trump had a meltdown and attacked reporters from CNN and NBC News.
“CNN should be ashamed of itself having you working for them,” Trump told Jim Acosta, a favorite target of this president. “You are a rude, terrible person. You shouldn’t be working for CNN. You’re a very rude person. The way you treat Sarah Huckabee is horrible,” Trump added.
Acosta asked the President about his attacks on the migrant caravan, which set Trump off.
“I think you should let me run the country, you run CNN,” Trump said, before repeatedly telling Acosta, “That’s enough!”
He demanded Acosta sit down, give up the microphone, and continued to attack him as the CNN reporter refused.
Trump then called on NBC News’ Peter Alexander – then attacked him when he defended his CNN colleague.
