Liberals Blast ‘National Disgrace’ Chuck Schumer for Agreeing to Give Trump $1.6 Billion for Border Wall

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is in hot water after announcing, on behalf of Senate Democrats, he is willing to give President Trump $1.6 billion or more to pay for the border wall. Trump ran and won on the promise Mexico would pay for the wall, which many see as racist.

Most Democrats are opposed to Trump’s border wall – in fact, 57% of all Americans, Gallup found in June, oppose building the wall.

But that didn’t stop the New York Democrat.

CNN Senior Congressional Correspondent Manu Raju reported on Senator Schumer’s remarks via Twitter:
