For two years President Donald Trump has been attacking Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) for stating on a Harvard University job application that she is part Native American. Despite the prestigious school affirming it was neither an attempt to get hired nor was it used as part of their decision-making process, Trump repeatedly has mocked the high-profile Massachusetts Democrat as “Pocahontas.”
At one point Trump even told supporters he would give Sen. Warren $1 million to hand to her favorite charity if she could prove her claim.
At this July rally Trump also mocked the “Me Too” movement while attacking Warren.
“I will give you a million dollars to your favorite charity, paid for by Trump, if you take the test and it shows you’re an Indian, you know.” Trump told supporters. “And let’s see what she does.”
Sunday night, Sen. Warren released DNA proof she is part Native American, along with video.
Monday morning, Trump claimed he never made that promise.
“Who cares – I didn’t say that,” he told reporters. “You better read it again.”
