Tomi Lahren is out with another false attack, blasting Hillary Clinton‘s recent remarks about President Trump’s racism and sexism.
When Hillary Clinton is “attacking President Donald Trump, she’s actually attacking Americans and she’s attacking his supporters, and she couldn’t be more tone deaf,” Lahren charged.
“What she’s doing when she says that he is racist, she’s trying to distract from the fact that Black unemployment is at historic lows,” Lahren said on “Fox & Friends” Wednesday morning.
“When she says that he’s sexist she’s trying to distract from the fact that we have GDP growth over 4 percent.”
“When she says that he’s Islamophobic she’s trying to distract from the fact that as Commander-in-Chief he has overseen the decimation of ISIS,” Lahren claimed.
On Tuesday Clinton was asked if she thinks Trump is racist.
“I think he has thrown his lot in with people and groups whose stated objective is white nationalism, white supremacy,” Clinton told The Atlantic’s editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg during a forum.
“He has been racist, he’s been sexist, he’s been Islamophobic, he has been anti-LGBTQ, I mean, there’s a long list,” Clinton responded.
“He has a view of America that is incredibly constricted and he talks to that America,” she added.
Aside from her false attacks on Clinton, Lahren’s claims are misleading.
Black unemployment under President Barack Obama fell more than 9 points. Under President Trump, just 1.5 points.
Yes, GDP growth is at 4.1%. But under President Obama, GDP growth broke 4 percent three times: 4.6%, 4.9%, and 5.1%.
And ISIS has been hit hard, but is reportedly “poised to make a comeback.”
