WTH?
Internet Explodes Watching Kanye West in the Oval Office Having Insane Meltdown With Trump
Kanye West spent the afternoon with President Donald Trump in the Oval Office, and before a “working lunch” launched into an insane rant. The internet went nuts.
During West’s remarks, which were broadcast nearly uninterrupted by cable news channels, West said his pro-Trump MAGA hat makes him feel like Superman, saying that Hillary Clinton’s “I’m With Her” message didn’t resonate with him. He also seemed to allude to Caitlyn Jenner coming out as transgender, saying he married into a family that does not have a lot of “male energy.”
KANYE on his #MAGA hat: "They tried to scare me to not wear this hat, but this hat gives me power, in a way…The campaign 'I'm with her' just didn't make me feel as a guy that didn't get to see my dad all the time like a guy that can play catch w/his son…I feel like superman." pic.twitter.com/aLP2fkefnV

He also talked about prison reform in the frame of “alternate universes,” and said he’s going to work with Apple to build an airplane.
West reiterated his remarks from last month, when he called for the abolishment of the 13th Amendment, which abolished slavery. The rapper called it a “trap door” and seemed to believe that the 13th Amendment leads to imprisonment. He doubled down, retracting his claim that he didn’t mean “abolish” when he first tweeted the word.
KANYE, ranting: "That puts us back into trap door called the 13th Amendment. I did say abolish. Why would you will keep a trap door? The Constitution is the base of our country. Would you build a trap door that if something happens, you fall & end up next to the Unibomber." #wut pic.twitter.com/M915dyPBbW

President Trump told reporters that West is a “smart cookie,” and “gets it.”
“Let’s stop worrying about the future all we have is today,” West said at one point. “Trump is on his hero’s journey right now. He might not have thought he’d have a crazy mother-fucker like (me),” in the Oval Office.
Um?
No idea:
KANYE says he wants to build "Trump factories" in Chicago bc "he's a master of industry."
"It would be cool to have Yeezy ideation centers, which would be a mix of education that empowers people & gives them modern information like– sometimes people say 'this kid has ADD'" 🙃🙃 pic.twitter.com/834ilGC4q8

West said when he announced “George Bush doesn’t like Black people,” he was “programmed to think from a victimized mentality.”

A White House pool reporter noted: “He is currently on an extended soliloquy that included saying he Has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Said that was a mis-diagnosis and he is sleep-deprived.”

Then, Trump wrapped it up: “Let’s go have some lunch.”

MSNBC’s Ali Velshi called it “bonkers,” and Stephanie Ruhle called it “an assault on our White House.” Ruhle focused on the fact that West focused on the “male energy” associated with the MAGA slogan and gave him “balls.”

The internet exploded. Some reactions:
in 2005 kanye west drew even more global attention to hurricane katrina's devastation by saying that george bush didn't care about black people.
in 2018 he's suppressing news of hurricane michael's devastation by gladhanding a president that doesn't care about black people.

I’ve met 6 year olds who remind me of Kanye. You know how little kids just start talking to you and they ramble stream of consciousness, without ever stoping until their parents step in? this is nuts.

Seriously, @CNN? Carrying this entire Oval Office bit? Kayne now passing around his phone to show off a cool gif he found. Shoot me.

Currently patting myself on the back for blocking Kanye on Twitter years ago after he tweeted that Bill Cosby is innocent and that Mark Zuckerberg needs to stop giving his money to poor kids in Africa and invest it in Kanye instead.
The dude is a piece of shit.

Kanye and Trump. Two powerful, unaccountable, troubled, famous men playing at matters they do not understand but no one will tell them that or stop them. Neither belongs in the Oval Office.

Kanye barely let Trump get a word in during disjointed rant. He just explained how his bipolar disorder was misdiagnosed and was actually sleep deprivation that caused dimentia.
Trump after: "I'll tell you what, that was pretty impressive."

Trump meeting with Kanye while the Florida panhandle & southeast is reeling from one of the worst hurricanes ever to hit the US mainland tells you everything you need to know about this White House
