Former Obama Attorney General Eric Holder is among the many Democrats who have received explosive devices, bombs, or other suspicious packages.
MSNBC’s Pete Williams reports the package was intercepted by the Secret Service before it reached Holder.
Earlier today news broke that suspicious packages or explosive devices, including pipe bombs, had been sent to former President Barack Obama, former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State and Senator Hillary Clinton, former CIA Director John Brennan, and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. On Monday billionaire philanthropist George Soros received an explosive device, described by some as a pipe bomb.
Additionally, the offices of CNN in New York City, Democratic Senator Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Democratic Senator Kamala Harris and the San Diego Union-Tribune were evacuated after suspicious packages found.
These should all be viewed as acts of domestic terrorism and in most cases assassination attempts.
