Kavanaugh BFF Mark Judge Says He Will Talk to FBI – But Puts Strings on His Cooperation

Mark Judge, the man who Dr. Christine Blasey Ford says was in the room when Brett Kavanaugh allegedly sexually assaulted and attempted to rape her – has issued a statement saying he will talk to the FBI if President Trump orders the investigation.
Senators Jeff Flake (R-AZ), Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), and Joe Manchin (D-WV) have stated they may vote against Kavanaugh if the FBI is not given one week to investigate the allegations against the Supreme Court nominee.
The Associated Press has just reported that “Kavanaugh friend Mark Judge says he’ll cooperate with any law enforcement agency that investigates,” but adds there are strings.
The AP reports Judge said he would cooperate “confidentially.”
What, specifically, that means is unclear at the moment.
It could mean that he would cooperate if what he tells the FBI is not made public, but that has yet to be revealed, but Judge’s attorney has just talked with CNBC.
“If the FBI or any law enforcement agency requests Mr. Judge’s cooperation, he will answer any and all questions posed to him,” Judge’s lawyer Barbara Van Gelder told CNBC via email.
It is also unclear what the FBI will be allowed to investigate, if they will investigate the main three allegations of sexual misconduct, if they will investigate Kavanaugh’s mysterious finances, if they will investigate the documents Republicans refuse to share with Democrats, for starters.
Judge reportedly has been “holed up” in a Delaware beach house, refusing to talk to reporters.
