MSNBC host Katy Tur bestowed President Donald Trump’s so-called “Space Force” with its own theme song.
At the top of her MSNBC program on Thursday, Tur spontaneously sang out “Space Force” in a high-pitched voice.
“Is that going to be the theme song for it?” MSNBC’s Craig Melvin asked.
“I don’t know,” Tur replied. “Whenever I see it, I just think Space Force!”
“It just feels right to me,” she added.
Earlier on Thursday, Vice President Mike Pence spoke about plans for the proposed military branch.
“As President Trump has said, in his words, it is not enough to merely have an American presence in space — we must have American dominance in space. And so we will,” Pence said in a speech at the Pentagon. “Space is, in his words, a war-fighting domain just like land and air and sea.”
