Trump Campaign Takes Legal Action Against Omarosa for Breaking Lifetime NDA – Demands Millions

The Trump campaign has taken legal action against Omarosa Manigault Newman for allegedly breaking a lifetime non-disclosure agreement.

“Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. has filed an arbitration against Omarosa Manigault-Newman, with the American Arbitration Association in New York City, for breach of her 2016 confidentiality agreement with the Trump Campaign,” the campaign said in a statement sent to The Washington Post.

Omarosa is promoting her new book, Unhinged, about her year in the Trump White House. To support her claims she has released audio recording she made of Trump, his chief of staff John Kelly, and others.

“An official said on background that Manigault Newman has made ‘egregious’ violations of the agreement and as a result they are seeking millions of dollars in retaliation,” The Washington Examiner reports. “As the case unfolds, they might also seek any ‘ill-gotten profits’ she has received from the book, including her fee for writing it.”

It would appear Trump and his campaign are concerned about what the other tapes – Omarosa says she has “plenty” – might contain.
