Sarah Huckabee Sanders: ‘I Can’t Guarantee’ Americans Won’t Hear a Recording of Trump Using the ‘N’ Word

White House Also Says Trump Isn’t Racist Because Bill and Hillary Clinton Attended His Wedding

Sarah Huckabee Sanders was pelted with questions Tuesday afternoon about whether or not President Donald Trump is a racist, after he called Omarosa Manigault Newman “that dog.”

Asked if she could guarantee that Americans will never hear Donald Trump using the “N” word in any recording, Huckabee Sanders said she could not.

“I can’t guarantee anything,” Huckabee Sanders responded to NBC News’ Kristen Welker, “but I can tell you that the president addressed this question direcrtly. I can tell you that I’ve never heard it,” the White House press secretary said.

Omarosa has said Trump is on tape using the racial slur.

The White House press secretary also vouched for her boss, saying, “I can certainly say I’ve never seen never heard him use that term or anything similar,” when asked about the “N” word.

Huckabee Sanders then tried to transition into a claim that Trump and his entire administration are working hard every day, “doing our very best to help people all across this country and make it better.”

She also insisted, falsely, that Trump has worked “particularly” hard for African Americans.

And she defended Trump by saying that he couldn’t possibly be racist because Bill and Hillary Clinton attended his wedding.
