Ali Velshi: Indictments & Impeachment on MSNBC

It’s getting real for POTUS over at MSNBC.

In a segment labeled, “Fruit of the Investigations,” morning host Ali Velshi opened the show by declaring all the ways in which an ill-informed President Trump would falter should democrats win the House.

“The president is worried right now, and here’s why,” Velshi began before diving into his exploratory piece.

“So far there’s been one outright conviction of his former campaign chairman for bank and tax fraud, with another trial looming,” Velshi said, in reference to Trump’s former campaign manager Paul Manafort.

Then Velshi shared a laundry list of sorts.

“In New York there are currently two immunity deals in place,” Velshi continued. “One for National Enquirer owner David Pecker, the keeper of the president’s secrets, and the other his money man back at the Trump Organization, Allen Weisselberg.”

It’s widely speculated that both Weisselberg and Pecker may provide key testimony in reference to the Michael Cohen investigation. Cohen, Trump’s former personal lawyer, has already flipped on the troubled Trump, citing concern over the entire GOP.

If indictments are any indication, there’s no fixing this flippant firestorm.

Velshi continued in his segment, “the most staggering numbers, 32 people and entities have been indicted on more than 100 charges, including conspiracy against the United States.”

There are currently six guilty pleas secured by the Southern District of New York into Trump’s 2016 campaign. One of them includes the guilty plea issued by Cohen, which directly implicated Trump.

The way this all seems to be going down, the midterm elections will hold the cards for the future of the self-admitted con artist-turned-president and his entire party.
