White ‘Commits Theological Malpractice With Nearly Every Word’
Pentecostal televangelist pastor Paula White is the chair of Donald Trump’s White House Evangelical Advisory Board, and she’s being mocked by actual faith leaders for her claim that Jesus never broke the law (video below).
“Yes, he did live in Egypt for three-and-a-half years,” Pastor White told Pat Robertson’s CBN News. “But it was not illegal.”
“If he had broken the law, then he would have been sinful and he would not have been our Messiah,” White insisted.
That’s totally false.
“In fact,” Talking Points Memo notes, “Jesus was famously crucified specifically for breaking the law by claiming to be the son of God. Before that, he was persecuted by religious leaders and the Romans for violating laws like resting on the Sabbath.”
White made her remarks to support President Trump’s theft of infants and children, separating them from their parents and siblings, and losing track of them. There are currently thousands detained, some in concentration camps, where conditions have been described as horrific.
She told CBN the experience the children have in the concentration camps is “life-changing,” which it is, but not as she described.
“Not just three square meals, psychiatric care, clinician, medical care, chapel, events, schooling, language, and love.”
That’s been proven to be false.
Several actual Christian leaders and many others attacked White for her false interpretation of the Bible.
